Tap Farm is a free app that brings the fun of creatively building and managing a farm to the iPhone. Unlike other iPhone farming games, the Tap Farm marketplace offers many options of items to buy (e.g. buildings, crops, animals), so players have lots of ways to design intricate and imaginative farms that express their unique style and show off their farming prowess.
A player is given a plot of land and the ability to plant, plow, and sell their crops for coins. With more coins and more farming experience, a player can purchase an ever larger variety of items from the Tap Farm marketplace to use to decorate their farm and distinguish it from the farms of other players.
Checking on the status of crops — which grow in real time even while the app is closed — is also wildly addictive, and as the hours and days pass, players will have a great time amassing enough wealth to build the farm of their dreams.
Players can also see the farms other users have created and compare them with their own.

pretty cool game, i just recently downloaded it… this is a must have app on your ipod touch or phone.

yup it's better than iFarm which is very dull and slow the animation makes it more slow duh…
I got an iphone for Xmas & have become addicted to my phone, the apps & especially the Tap Farm app. My husband downloaded it & I made fun on him at first, now I am checking my crops, trees & animals every few hours. I really just wanted to know if there were any similar applications that let you build a city, business or other simulation like this. I'm not even sure what catagory to look in; any suggestions?
Sim City would be the closest app I could think of.. You may want to check it out
