I have read some of the reviews on the Google App for the iPhone over at the App store and I don’t think people quite get it.  They are blasting the app stating they can do web searches already from safari.  But the Google App does a whole lot more.  You can search your contacts, your previous searches, websites, and it provides suggestions as you type.

I have found the app to be very useful.  It has not quite found it’s way on to the front page of my iphone yet, but it is secure on the second page for the moment.

So, if you have a lot of contacts or do frequent web searches from your iPhone, then this app may be just the thing to fit the bill.  Browse to the app store and download the Google App, it’s free of charge and helps get all the google goodness to your screen that much faster.

Ped StandNow that the SDK has been announced and everyone is either busy announcing products or putting in their wish lists for products, here is one more that I would like to see.

How about a Bluetooth Keyboard and text entry program for the iPhone.  How nice would it be to use one of these cool Ped3 Stands and a mini bluetooth keyboard for the iPhone to turn your iPhone in to a mini road monitor and use the phone  as a true  mobile computer.

iPhoneRemote Synchronization – My iPhone already realizes when I get home and connects to my local network.  How about taking that one step further and sinking my data for me??

It sure would be nice to sit down at my Mac and have all my updated contacts, appointments, etc already there on my computer.  Apple already got the ball rolling with the introduction of the Macbook Air and remote CD / DVD use.
Let’s unhitch the iPhone and let my data free.

Maybe some of you code geeks are working on this already, if so I would like to know about it and I will promote your product here on the blog.

I have some OTHER ideas that I want to explore further on this topic in future articles.  Check back to see where I would like to see this thing go or give me your ideas on the subject.
