FREE Fast-Paced Alien Farming Game Now Available In Apple’s App Store

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – September 7, 2010 – Phoenixx Apps today announced that their first game, Oh Crop!, is now available exclusively for iPhone and iPod touch. Oh Crop! is a FREE highly addictive alien-farming game.

In Oh Crop!, the player collects fast changing alien crops to reach a yearly quota. After each year, remaining money can be spent on “Main Street” to upgrade farming equipment or saved for the coming harvest. To be successful, the player must also learn to quickly exterminate greedy pests that pop up and eat the crops. “After serving your first few years on earth, you can travel across the universe to Pluto and eventually to the sun for even higher-stakes farming,” said Will Harvey, co-founder of Phoenixx Apps.

The rich, cartoon graphics and humorous sound effects lend well to Oh Crop!’s absurd theme of alien farming. In addition to the unique gameplay, users will love the elements of humor littered throughout the app—But be warned: few farmers are fast and sharp-minded enough to make it through the harvest with those badgerin’ pests wreaking havoc!,” said Scott Harvey, co-founder for Phoenixx Apps.

Oh Crop! also uses OpenFeint, so players can unlock achievements and shoot for the top of the global leaderboards in “survival mode” while racking up OpenFeint points. The difficult game play in later levels as well as in “survival mode” may even have the user crying out ‘Oh Crop!’ from time to time.

Oh Crop! is now available world-wide for FREE download from Apple’s App Store for iPhone/iPod touch:
