Local Startup Releases iPhone and Facebook App To Help Pakistan Flood Victims

100% of Revenue Received by Developer to be Donated to Those Affected

Islamabad, Pakistan (December 22, 2010) – Over a 100 days after the devastating floods in Pakistan there are still millions of men, women and children in dire need of help. In order to prevent the more than 21 million lives destroyed by the flood from becoming a distant memory, a fledgling startup,, is trying to raise awareness and funds for those affected through an iPhone and Facebook app available now online and in the Apple App store.

All of the revenue earned by through Relief Copter will be donated for the rehabilitation of the Pakistan flood victims. Relief Copter is available on the Apple app store ( and on Facebook (

The app, ‘Relief Copter,’ is a simple game in which users pilot an aid copter in order to drop relief crates accurately in order to progress. partnered with Bangladesh based G4R to develop ‘Relief Copter’ for iOS and Facebook. The app features 8 beautifully crafted levels depicting the landscapes of Pakistan.  More importantly, it also features important facts and photos about the impact of the flood, and the Facebook version gives players the ability to share this information and donate to the flood relief effort.
