The iphone photo app that instantly makes stories for you, My Week in Pictures launches today. The app automatically turns your favourite photos from each week into a eye-catching photo montage. Montages are collected into an instant visual diary that can be shared with friends or browsed later to relive your favourite memories.
Each weekly photo montage contains four to nine pictures and is fully editable. Individual snapshots are time-stamped and can be swapped or replaced with text. Beta users are particularly fond of sharing their weekly story in one click to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or via email.
“People are capturing more everyday moments with their phones but it’s hard to share them all one by one or take the time to put them together,” said Adriaan Stellingwerff, developer of the app. “The app automates this as much as possible so you don’t have to start from scratch. My Week in Pictures pulls moments of your weeks into a visual diary of photo montages, making it easy to re-live your personal highlights and share a whole week with friends in one hit.”
The app automatically sorts all the photos stored on an iPhone into the weeks they were taken. The user can then open and view each week as a photo montage. The user can edit and change the photos in the montage to best represent the week. The montage can then be easily shared with friends, family and fans on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and via email.
Turn your moments into stories, and instantly relive and share the highlights of your week.
