New Indie iOS Game – Thorn: Zombie Dungeon Survival

Thorn: Zombie Dungeon Survival now available for iOS

San Francisco, CA – July 13, 2011 – In a move that came as a shock to dungeon-dwelling zombies everywhere, indie developer Good Controller LLC has released Thorn: Zombie Dungeon Survival, their first game for the iPhone.

Thorn: Zombie Dungeon Survival can be purchased on the Apple iTunes store and is compatible with all recent iOS devices including the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Currently, the game is on sale for $1.99.

“We wanted to create a game that we would want to play,” said Good Controller developer Christopher Drellow, “so we threw in all of the things we love about video games: zombies, explosions, punishing difficulty, and numerous sharp objects.”

Thorn: Zombie Dungeon Survival puts the player in control of Thorn, an axe-wielding Viking hero of notably short temper. Trapped in a zombie-infested dungeon, players must use every axe, blade, and bomb at their disposal to reach the exit before time runs out.

Using intuitive touch-screen controls, players battle their way through each dungeon maze, finding weapons and fighting hordes of undead using hand-to-hand and missile attacks. Randomly-generated levels and loot ensure fresh challenges with every play.

Thorn: Zombie Dungeon Survival combines elements of vintage arcade games, dungeon crawlers, and high-stress action to give iPhone gamers a fresh, fun, and atmospheric zombie combat experience.
