Addictive hit puzzle game Squarepeg hits the App Store today – for free!
A unique new take on traditional peg puzzles, Squarepeg is anything but childsplay. Players must get all their shapes down the holes to finish each level. Shapes can be dragged, spun round, colour-shifted, and even used to open holes that seem stubbornly closed. The game increases in difficulty and later levels see a whole range of fiendish extras, from freezing shapes to ‘symbol shifters’.
Squarepeg is great for hardcore puzzlers and casual commuters alike, as each challenge needs “just one more go” to crack it. It’s an ideal brain trainer too, boosting those flagging IQ levels!
Squarepeg will be available free from the App Store, bundled with a starter pack of sixteen levels. Players can upgrade to the full edition from within the game itself for just $0.99 (£0.59).
So perhaps a square peg can go in a round hole after all.
